Procedures

ARTWORK

In order to ensure your artwork does not encounter any delays, we've listed artwork preparation requirements including file formats and other requirements to make things move along as smoothly as possible.  For any answers you cannot find listed below, please do not hesitate to contact a Pink Displays Representative at (888) 987- PINK (7465).

TIMELINE & PROOFS

Proofs will be generated and emailed to the e-mail address on file within 24 hours of receipt. If you do not receive a proof within the 24 hour period, please contact us to find out the state of your proofs. The next business day following the day of artwork approval will be considered as your first production day. Standard production is 10 business days, unless you have selected a shorter production time during the purchasing process.

Once you have approved your proofs, you will receive an email stating that we have received your approval.  If you do not get an email confirmation, please contact us immediately as that could mean that we did not receive your approval.  

Please note that proofs are not for color matching!  Proofs are only for the purpose of seeing resolution and placement of your artwork.  Sometimes during file transmission, things can shift or change in unexpected ways.  No color matching is guaranteed unless you provide a Pantone for your artwork.  Also, not all Pantones are a guaranteed 100% match.  We will do our best to come as close as possible.

ARTWORK PREPARATION

File Formatting & Requirements

Please see our acceptable file formats below and submit the correct type of file to avoid encountering any delays in the production of your artwork.

  • Encapsulated PostScript (.EPS)
  • Tagged Image File (.TIF)
  • JPEG (.JPG)
  • Portable Document File – High Resolution (.PDF)
  • Adobe Illustrator CS5 or Earlier (.AI)
  • Adobe Photoshop CS5 or Earlier (.PSD or .PSB)

Please remember to flatten your file and turn all text to outlines before submission.

Design File Requirements

  • Do not submit any font files.  All text must be converted to outlines before artwork is submitted.
  • All files should be flattened before submitted.
  • All files should be created at 100% at 150dpi.
  • Please save your files in CMYK mode.
  • Please provide us with your PMS color matches for all pertinent color matches.  Please note that not all PMS colors can be matched exactly, but we will do our best to come to a close match.
  • Do not include and bleeds in your files unless it is specified to do so on the Specifications for the product you have ordered.
  • All photomural panel layouts should be created as one file rather than separating out each panel into its own individual file.  This also applies to all Banner Stand Packages which utilize multiple banner stands to create one larger display.
  • For all serpentine layouts, please include a layout description of what side you want as the concave and convex sides to your display.  If this information is not provided, it will default to have the concave on the left and convex on the right.

GRAPHIC SUBMISSION

Submit your graphics via one of the listed methods below:

Artwork Submission Form

Upload your artwork files through our artwork submission form ensuring the file meets our design and file formatting requirements.  This can be found on the Artwork page of our website.

FTP Graphic Submission

Submit your artwork files (preferably in a compressed folder) through FTP client software with the information below. Once you have uploaded your files to this FTP site, please email Graphics@PinkDisplays.com notifying us with the completion of your upload. When emailing us, please let us know the name of the folder you loaded along with your order number.

Also, please be sure to use your order number in the filename so that we know what order it belongs to.  Artwork files that do not include the order number in the filename could have delays in receiving proofs if we cannot figure out who the file belongs to.
